Play Readings and Workshop

Playwrights have been invited to create original works for a series of three one-act plays to be held this July, featuring plays written by local writers Peter Paylor , Ryan Aldred and the award-winning Ken Murray.

Developing a process that truly embraces the Old Church’s character, the playwrights, along with a dramaturg, will attend a reading and workshop of their plays at the Old Church. The goal is to shape and perfect the original works in their final venue before they are put into the hands of the directors and actors who will bring them to life.
Those who are interested in participating in the productions are welcomed to attend the workshop on Sunday, April 23 at 1 p.m.
