Ted Staunton leads the Maple Leaf Champions Jug Band….featured annually in front of thousands of swing-dancing flappers & Charleston loving dapper Dans at the costumed Great Gatzby Party on the Spadina House Museum grounds in Toronto. His keen sense of humour & storytelling combine withscintillating songwriting chops & Ted’s prowess on resonaphonic Dobro, Martin 6 string guitar and 5 string banjo to provide a brilliant show of fingerpicking mastery and experienced vocal delivery. Ted’s original tunes are interspersed with vintage songs from the roaring 20’s and the dirty’30s.

Ted and his musical cohort Ken Ramsden (fiddle & mandolin) have enjoyed performing together at concerts
in Ontario. The duo completed a tour of house concerts Manitoba and Saskatchewan in 2015 for the ‘Home Routes’ organization.
