On the Labour Day long weekend with summer winding down, we invite you to join us for a party on the patio of the Old Church!
Celebrate with us as Napanee native Ed Mahon takes the stage, performing a selection of your favorite songs that will get you singing and dancing. Whether you’re a fan of classic hits or contemporary tunes, there will be something for everyone!
We’ll have wood-fired pizza and a variety of cold drinks available to keep you refreshed, along with good vibes and fun.
Bring your friends and family for some great tunes and good times during this last stretch of summer. Don’t miss out on a fantastic “Old Church Patio Party” – let’s make this Labour Day weekend a fun one!
Ed Mahon is the friendly musician who never runs out of songs – the last to leave the campfire and kitchen party type. Playing multiple instruments professionally for over 45 years, he’s played solo, formed successful mixed duos, and was on the road as a full time musician for the first time in the 80s (playing drums!). He gravitated towards guitar along the way, did some writing and recording, but ultimately just wanted to enjoy the experience of the moments and friends that only come from up close and personal live experiences.
Exposure to broad range of Canadian, American, and British music his repertoire is very diverse and bridges many genres and eras of music – ranging from the well-known party standards to seldom-heard gems that take you back to a good time memory. His personability and catchy song list are sure to have you singin’, dancin’, tappin’ or slappin’ – just like a good kitchen party or campfire should be!
For the past several years, Ed has been splitting his time between Canada and places like the Dominican Republic and Mexico, making friends and memories over a little music with the expats – and where the snow can’t find him! But in the summer, he always returns home to Canada… where the music made him!
