September 14th on the Patio
International touring award nominated Canadian Gordie Tentrees has arrived. This authentic road poet travels North America, Europe, UK/Ireland, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand with 7 records behind him never repeating himself on stage. From headlining Celtic Connections (Glasgow) to the National Folk Festival (Canberra) his ability to hold an audience, weave melody and juggle the dark with the light is infectious. Armed with harmonica, bottleneck resonator, guitar and foot percussion this one-man band has performed 2500 concerts in 11 countries. Fred Eaglesmith took him around the world in his early days and he has since shared the stage with Mary Gauthier, James Cotton, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Kelly Joe Phelps and Steve Poltz. He releases “Mean Old World’ his 8th record Sept. 14-2021 worldwide.
“Impossible to not get drawn into his world, sounding like a young John Prine” No Depression
“Majestic songwriting, incredible insight, genuine authenticity” Americana UK
