Music is for everyone and this workshop series is for everyone …whether you are a seasoned performer, a creator, a dancer, or a listener. Music may drive you, stir you, intrigue you or… confuse you. There is much to discover, much to enjoy. Let’s together remove some of veil of mystery. Let’s grab some of the building blocks and create together. Let’s learn how to listen and what to listen for.
Together we’ll explore rhythm, harmony, structure, shape. We’ll begin to understand the importance of balance and unravel some reasons that things often get missed in live performance— important things. We’ll begin to enjoy the beauty of pacing and silence. We’ll share ideas…
