Old Church Theatre

We are pleased to announce the completion of our patio resurfacing project at the Old Church Theatre in anticipation of our summer opening.  This new patio refinishing is the final step in our efforts to bring great entertainment outdoors, not only to ensure the safety of our patrons during these difficult times, but for a future which embraces an expanded season of outdoor activity.  We wholeheartedly thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for the funding to undertake this great initiative and for endorsing our vision of ongoing outdoor programming.

The Old Church Theatre was the recipient of the OTF Resilient Communities Fund which “supports the non-profit sector recover and rebuild from the impacts emerging from COVID-19 so they can effectively meet the needs of communities across Ontario.”

The new patio surface also completes our goal of achieving a complete barrier free entertainment experience for all patrons, having completed the outdoor ramped entry, barrier free washroom and hands free entrance.  We will be ready when given the all clear from the province that gatherings can commence.  We will still be adhering to COVID-19 related protocols and safety measures for as long as required with the conviction that the safest step is to remain outdoors with comfortable social distancing guidelines in place. Looking forward to seeing you and sharing the new patio space for more great live performances and wood fired pizza at the Old Church Theatre for our 2021 Summer Series.

Until we meet again, here’s a little preview:
