Po’Boy Jeffreys & Calamity Jane
940 Bonisteel Rd. Trenton ON

Po’Boy Jeffreys & Calamity Jane are Roots Music revivalists. Through their commanding use of traditional instruments such as acoustic guitar, washtub bass, banjo, and kazoo, the duo evokes the nostalgic sounds and ambience of Southern Country, Pre-War Blues, and Ragtime. Boasting an energetic, young and unique style, Po’Boy & Calamity invite audiences to reminisce about a bygone era of traditional Folk and Roots which lays as the bedrock of American and Canadian music.
Based out of Toronto, and playing as a unit for only 11 months; Po’Boy Jeffreys & Calamity Jane have released two live EPs, several singles, toured the Canadian Maritimes in the summer of 2022 and are Mariposa Folk Festival’s Emerging Artists finalists.
In the upcoming spring/summer of 2023, Po’Boy & Calamity will be performing for The Northern Heat Rib Fests around Ontario, playing local hot spots in and around Toronto, as well as touring Newfoundland in August.
Note: Our summer concerts will be held outdoors with wood fired pizza available. Gates open at 5pm for the 6pm show. In the event of bad weather we will be able to move the concert indoors. The show must go on!
